If I don't subscribe, can I still have unlimited chats without filters?
Yes, all users can enjoy unlimited chats without content filters and create as many characters as you want in Tipsy. Subscribing or not will not affect this freedom, but you will be able to receive more free messages per month, gain access to smarter models and unlock more advanced features.
Besides the total number of free messages and gems, what is the difference between the free and paid plans?
Memory:
- Free plan: 4k memory – can remember shorter parts of conversations.
- All Subscriber plans: 8k memory – has a longer recall time for more personalized chats. "I'm All In" plan will be upgraded to 16k memory soon.
- The capacity of memory determines the total amount of information your AI character remembers about the story and previous conversations with you, which results in a smoother and more personalized experience.
Models:
- Free and "Get a Taste" plans: Classic models only - Fast responses, great performance.
- "True Supporter" plan: Unlocks the Beta model series - Richer descriptions, greater emotional depth.
- "I'm All In" plan: Unlocks the Wise model series - This type of models cost 9 times more than Classic models and provides a highly intelligent immersive experience. Wise mode is designed for users who seek deep, meaningful interactions.
Features:
- Free and "Get a Taste" plans: No access to convenient features such as auto-inspiration.
- "True Supporter" plan: Auto-inspiration available.
- "I'm All In" plan: Has auto-inspiration and advanced features to change the length of AI replies. In addition, this plan will soon launch other advanced features such as automatic sound playback and 16k memory.
Is it worth it for me to upgrade from a monthly subscription to an annual plan? Will I get a refund for the unused portion of my monthly plan?
Of course, we have thought about this for you. Upgrading from a monthly plan to an annual plan is a highly recommended way to save money, saving up to 50% compared to paying monthly. Plus, we will help you save money on the unused portion of the money based on different channels, as follows:
Apple App:
When you upgrade to an annual plan, all your benefits will be updated immediately, and you will get a partial refund for any unused time on your current monthly plan.
Other platforms:
When you upgrade to an annual plan, you will only need pay the difference between the monthly and annual plans, and the fee will be automatically adjusted based on the remaining monthly subscription time. Don't forget to manually cancel the automatic renewal of the monthly subscription to avoid any additional charges.
Note: To ensure that you receive a refund or enjoy the difference in price for upgrading, we recommend that you upgrade through the same payment method as your monthly plan. Switching payment platforms may cause you to miss out on these savings.
What is the difference between messages and gems?
Subscribers receive a fixed number of messages each month depending on the plan. The messages are valid only for that month and do not carry over to the next month. At the start of each month, the message quota is automatically refreshed according to the subscription plan chosen. Gems are calculated separately. Once you earn gems, you can keep them forever with no expiration date.
What happens if I run out of messages?
If you run out of messages, you can recharge your account by upgrading your subscription or using the gem recharge option. Subscriptions are a better deal than paying for gems, as they also provide more features and models to use.
Why is a subscription plan being introduced?
Due to the rising costs of GPU usage and developing advanced AI models, we decided to launch a subscription plan for sustainable development. This will allow the Tipsy tech team to have some financial support to continue to provide smarter models and provide new features that enhance your experience.
How do I cancel my subscription?
App Store:
- Open the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top.
- Select "Subscriptions".
- Find and tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap "Cancel Subscription" and confirm.
Google Play:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines).
- Select "Subscriptions".
- Find and tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts.
Other Platforms: If you subscribed through another platform (e.g., Subscribestar, Patreon), use the "Manage Subscription" feature, return to the website where you pay your bill and follow that platform's process to cancel.
What happens after I cancel my subscription?
You will retain access to all of your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your subscription will not renew and you will no longer have those benefits and features. Refund policies vary by platform:
- App Store: Visit Apple's support page for refunds.
- Google Play: Visit Google Play's support page for refunds.
- Other Platforms: Your current subscription period is non-refundable per our policy.
What should I know about upgrading or downgrading my subscription on Subscribestar?
When you change your subscription on Subscribestar, your new plan will take effect immediately. To avoid double-billing, we recommend that you wait until the end of your current billing cycle to adjust your plan.
What should I do if I haven't received my bonus gems after subscribing?
